Güzelyurt District Hotels with Early Check in

"Upon arrival in my room the smell that greeted me was unbearable. It was coming from the drains and the whole room smelt awful. When shown the only other available room which was adjacent to my room, that room smelt also badly of drains. Thankfully Aiden was very helpful and allowed me to move to a flat in the hypnos residences which was wonderful and much preferable to the hotel. When going back to the hotel for breakfast, I had to wait 25 minutes for an omelette and a cup of coffee and the omelette was not edible. It was worse than a child could make. I left the omelette and left the hotel. There is also no parking at the hotel and a loud ball court across the road. Not to mention the balcony from the smelly room looked directly at a wall! I will not spend my money at Hypnos boutique hotel again. The Hypnos residences are far better."

"Very friendly and helpful staff who were keen to try and address our issues with hot water. We moved apartment for nights 2 & 3 as the hot water ran out during a quick shower and the second person had tepid water. Same problem with the second apartment. Presumably a building issue which staff must know? Really spacious and clean apartment. Comfy bed. Kitchen area. Nice balcony. Would have been great if there had been reliable hot water. Good location "

"I stayed in room 305 and, while the suite looks modern at first glance, the overall experience was disappointing. It ended up feeling less like a polished apartment stay and more like being in a rushed new-build with lots of small but frustrating issues. There were several basic maintenance and design problems throughout the room. The shower hot and cold water were plumbed the wrong way round, the hairdryer only worked for about 30 seconds before stopping completely, and the balcony light could not be turned off from three of the wall control panels and only worked properly through the TV app. Some of the bathroom fittings also seemed poorly repaired, with the shower and toilet rails already failing again, and the toilet roll holder sitting at an angle so the roll kept falling onto the floor. There were also usability issues that made the stay more irritating than it should have been. The TVs did not seem to support screen sharing properly, so I could not cast content from my MacBook, and the bedroom fire alarm has a bright green flashing light directly over the bed, which was very noticeable at night. The biggest issue, though, was the noise. Even after checking and locking all the windows, which had been left unlatched, the room was still very loud and I was regularly woken up through the night. I could not tell whether it was outside noise or building-related systems, but either way it made getting a proper night’s sleep almost impossible. "

"I decided to book a spa break abroad as a solo traveller. From the very moment I waked into the hotel I felt welcomed and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble. Every single member of staff no matter what their position, was courteous and helpful. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and taken care of. Travel to and from the airport was seamless. Although I arrived after midnight, the staff on duty was welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself has been designed and thought of through to the very scent of the place, it just oozes sophistication and relaxation. It is peaceful and quiet , even though in the middle of a busy city. I had two spa treatments which were absolutely outstanding. The spa staff incredibly knowledgeable and professional. I also trained in the gym which has technogym equipment which was maintained, working and very clean with staff to assist you if you needed a drink or a towel. The room was an experience in itself, a freestanding bath and a view of the most beautiful landscape of Nicosia and the surrounding hills through the dual aspect windows. The electronic controls of the bedroom, the curtains and the lighting was a beautiful touch through to the coffees and elemis toiletries. The restaurant was beautiful and the food, exceptional. A huge mention to all of the staff who made my stay so very pleasant and relaxing. I have no doubt I will return to experience this again.
