"Pool water was very warm. Lots of spots to sit at the pool. Very clean propety. Food was very good. Greet to relax by the ocean on the free lounge chairs. Nice sandy beach and water was crystal clear. Great to fiscover the Money Bar restaurant ( its not part of the all inclusive). We fidnt get to see any of the monkeys along the Monkey trail."

"The room was outdated, smelling old, but clean. They are planning a remodel later this year. Restaurants, bars, pools and grounds were excellent! There are chaise lounges on the beach, but no umbrellas. A few trees offer shade, but are mostly overtaken by local vendors who have “shops” there. The staff was wonderful, trying to accommodate every wish we had."

"Deluxe junior suite was beautiful! Adults really should stick with Westin Club pool. Best food was at Faisinella. Bamboo Asian was really bad. Caracola has most diverse menu and pretty good. Bathrooms in restaurant area were shameful. Sunset at beach incredible, but local vendors can be annoying. Overall still a great resort!"

"What stands out about this resort is the comfort of the rooms and the serving staff. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The staff are very attentive. These two main points offset the downsides to this resort. The plumbing is terrible. The toilet needed maintenance and, if not messed with every single time it’s used, it would continue to flush. We were lucky if the showers had any hot water, luke warm at BEST. 50% of the time there wasn’t enough pressure to properly shower and a couple times...

"This is a gorgeous property but not as all inclusive as you'd think for the price.They try to get you to a timeshare meeting when you arrive but they aren't too pushy. Then, as you go, you find out there are a lot of "yes, buts". For example, we asked a bartender if we could take a bottle of wine back to our room with us and he said yes just call room service. So we did and they said the limit was 2 glasses and it would be a 45 minute wait. The staff were friendly but you had to pay mucho out of...

"Food was great and definitely made the experience better. There was lots of hammering and construction going on so that made the stay not so relaxing. Seemed difficult to get towels, they never answer front desk phone and the hot water is hit and miss. Property is nice, beach access was easy and the pools were clean. Area is remote so arrange transportation before arriving as the property is 2+ hours away from Liberia Airport."

"We had a great stay at the W. It was a beautiful resort with helpful staff. There was some wear and tear on furniture in the room but didn’t impact the stay. It was definitely pricey but paying for the brand. Only thing I wish was that for families traveling the adult only pool is beautiful and we will there were some hours that kids could enjoy the space as well."

"The ocean in the area had a stinging creatures which made it non-enjoyable. We had to go to a neighboring town to swim in the ocean. The locals said that these creatures are present in the ocean from November till April. The pool at the hotel is relatively small: only 5-6 people would fit comfortably in it. "
