"Auf den ersten Blick ein Luxuriöses Hotel beim genaueren betrachten leider das komplette Gegenteil. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, überall sind Schimmelflecken auf der Tapete zu finden bzw. ist diese an diversen Stellen bereits kaputt. Der Fußboden ist abgenutzt und in den Ecken ist Schimmel zu finden. Die Fenster am Gang wurden gefühlt seit monaten nicht mehr geputzt und auch die Abflüsse weißen Schimmelspuren auf. Im Zimmer ist ein modriger Geruch wahrzunehmen der ohne einschalten...

"Everything was great! The only thing I didn't love was the internet connection. It looks like they use 4G cellular modems with data limits instead of a cable or fiber network. I occasionally had to hold Teams meetings for work, and the connection would drop and never get back. However, this seems to be a common issue across Sri Lanka, not just at this hotel. Aside from that, everything else was absolutely perfect, especially the staff and the location!"

"Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good...

"Property was severely lacking working amenities - the tv had blurred screen, the gas was not working throughout the stay. We had requested for a late check-out and due to the issues with the room, they had agreed at no cost. However on the day of checkout, we were repeatedly disturbed by the staff, asking us to check out and every time we had to again explain the situation. What's the point of a late check-out if someone or the other is going to disturb every 5 mins. Disappointing stay. Will...

"The location was amazing, but the bathroom had tons of water damage and bugs everywhere. The tub/shower situation was terrible as there were no curtains or dividers so water just got everywhere. The staff was really slow and didn’t understand a lot of our requests and while the lobby was bright and airy, I wish we would’ve chosen to stay elsewhere. We paid a lot for basic accommodation. "
