"I booked this place not expecting anything more than a three star and indeed the place did not disappoint. The room was advertised as executive but it was way below average. It was more of a backpacker. The furniture is old, the floor is neither tiled nor carpeted (it was a cement floor). The room has this 1982 bed with a very old mattress.The shower was not working properly. I must say the people were very friendly and the Wifi was on point."

"Das Gebäude in dem wir untergebracht waren stammte wahrscheinlich noch aus der Zeit als diese Anlage eine Farm war. Der Zustand ließ annehmen, daß hier früher die  Farmarbeiter wohnten. Die Zimmer waren klein. Gerade das Bett passte hinein. Es gab keinen Tisch, nur eine Holzplatte an der Wand die man hochklappen konnte. "We went to Eswatini for a Hawane dam fishing trip. Hawane resort was a excellent place to stay , with friendly staff. Unfortunately Hawane dam access is now controlled by Malaloja game reserve and even with a fishing license obtained by Malaloja, we found it extremely difficult to enter the dam premises. It is also extremely sad to see and hear that they allow nets in Hawane dam. We caught this carp, removed pieces of net from it, and released him."

"We were delighted to have a rondaval with an amazing view. Saw lots of antelope, warthogs, and interesting bird species while seated at our porch. I had wanted a cheaper and more traditional beehive rondaval, but this was so much better and way more private too. Only thing that would make it better is if windows were screened so we could leave them open for airflow at night."
