"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Riad Mumtaz Mahal in Essaouira from June 4th to June 7th, 2026. The experience was fantastic, and the Riad provided the perfect home base for exploring the city. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone visiting Essaouira."

"The Riad is very well situated in the medina of Essaouira. Although it is located in the center it is very quiet and calm. The interior is brandnew and exceptionally stylish. It combines traditional with modern elements of morrocan handicraft. The beautyful roof terrace includes two floors. The owner named Karim speaks fluend english and french. He is very helpful and gave us wonderful advice for restaurants and sightseeing."

"Very nice quiet hotel, spacious lounge, swimming pool in a good location, very near the beach but away from the busy areas."
