"The property was clean and convenient. The staff were helpful when requested. However, maintenance work has to be carried out in the apartment. The shower and the sink in the bathroom got flooded when used. The stove and the washing machine were malfunctioning. And the room was not cleaned during the period, though the terms and conditions state that it would be cleaned after the 5th day."

"We had a fantastic stay and couldnโt recommend this hotel more highly. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so warm, hospitable and genuinely kind, and they consistently went above and beyond to make our stay special. Some of the kindest and most welcoming staff Iโve ever come across at a hotel. Our rooms were great and incredibly spacious, and the food was amazing too. We had dinner at the hotel a few times during our stay and really enjoyed it, and breakfast was excellent as well. Raj served us at dinner and was particularly kind and attentive, and really helped make our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had such a lovely experience and felt very well looked after throughout our stay. Would absolutely recommend and would happily stay again!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The manager Chandana Lakmal and the rest of the staff were attentive to our every need, setting us up with transport to and from Colombo as well as tickets for the ongoing Test match. Everyone was incredibly kind without ever coming off as obsequious. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the property was simply gorgeous - an oasis of utter calm amidst the Galle hubbub. It is well located in that one can walk to the historic Fort area in 20 minutes. Definitely our first port of call at any future trips!"

"Great location inside the fort walls, so close to shopping, dining and historic sites. Staff very so nice and helpful, and the breakfasts, which were different every day and were freshly made local food, are probably the best breakfasts we've had in any country when travelling overseas. Beautifully restored building with tasteful period style decor. Good a/c plus a ceiling fan"

"Suite Lanka is such a lovely place. We stayed for 11 days so longer than most and throughout our stay the staff didnโt put a foot wrong. This is what makes this place special. If you want an ultra modern bland hotel then this is definitely Not your place. Our rooms ( pool suite and adjoining room) were comfortable and spacious, with good air con and beautiful bathrooms. Beds were really good quality and comfortable. The pool is not massive but god enough for a cool off and immaculately maintained. We were there in monsoon season so no sea swimming but we managed most breakfasts by the beach which is a great area. Breakfasts had great variety and plenty of food, fruit , pancakes, Sri Lankan porridge recommended. Overall a great stay with amazing staff."
