"Saubere geräumige Zimmer mit Balkon, aber im Zentrum von Ella: viele LKW,
viele Tuktuk, Abgase , Ruhe ab ca 22.00. Staff war sehr hilfreich, spricht gut englisch, erfüllt Sonderwünsche umgehend. Frühstücksbuffet war für 5 Euro
schwach, als Brotbelag gabs keine Wurst, nur eine Sorte Käse, dafür viel warmes Srilankaessen. Restaurant nebenan gehört zum Hotel. Ella an sich ist hässlich, laut und stinkig. Der Clou sind eben die Bahn, das Hochland, der Tee."

"vi kan ikke anbefale dette hotel. Udsigten er fantastisk, men det er også det eneste positive! Værelset var slidt og badeværelset var beskidt. Vi fik besøg af “bed bugs”, hvilket betød at vi checkede ud før tid og fandt et andet bedre hotel. Desuden ligger der en lugtende losseplads tæt hotellet."

"The only hotel in the world to cable car me in. And maybe my favourite hotel in Sri Lanka. Very relaxing as no internet in rooms and I read and listened to waterfall. Heaps of room to do yoga."
