La chambre (107) n’était pas propre: cheveux au sol, traces sur la robinetterie, coulisses brunes sur le mur. La chambre serait assez grande pour avoir deux petits fauteuils, mais il n’y a qu’une chaise de bureau vraiment très vieille et inconfortable. Le drain de la douche ne fournit pas. On entend des...

"Unfortunately tainted as the room we stayed in smelt of cigarettes and don’t blame the smoker for opening up the window and having a cheeky smoke as we we were soooo far away from reception we had to take Kendal mint cake for the hike and phone had no signal or idea called an uber lol This was valentines night and a treat for my partner which turned out to be the beginning of the end of 4 year relationship ! March now and single ! My own fault but partly blame the lazy smoker ( don’t really )...

"Great location in the seafront and boarder with Hove. Rooms have been refurbished, good value for money. Bar was expensive but only had one drink there. "

"I imagine once upon a time this hotel was magical Now it shows it's age, which is to be expected The tower room was large, good spa bath and shower. View was nice. A couple of things that would make it a bit more practical. Coat hooks near the door would be handy. Towel hooks in the bathroom also needed. "

"I stayed in a single “cosy” room which was tiny but really comfortable and exactly what I needed. Very clean room and lovely bathroom. I visited the spa which is very nice, breakfast was also lovely. It’s also in a great location right on the seafront and super close to all of the shops and not far from the station. I would stay here again "

"Staff were attentive and polite. Room was a bit too hot for sleeping. Breakfast was excellent quality but the high end restaurant was expensive for the quality of food. Also only had 3 options for children which was not great. Swimming area was lovely. "

"Appreciate hotel is old but appears run down & tired. Ensuite definitely needs an upgrade…worn sanitary fittings, missing or grubby sealant around bath & shower fitting."

"The breakfast was freshly cooked and of good quality. I do love staying here and return often. The accommodation is fairly priced for Brighton and offer a range of rooms. The staff are friendly which is nice."

"Right next to the train station! Great location for pubs - we found a nice restaurant (salt and charcoal) the last night we were there Staff of hotel are wonderful- breakfast is wonderful We had trouble getting our room cleaned - I guess they give them weekends off "

"Great hotel, I spent a couple of days with my friend, we found it good as it was very quiet time (just before Xmas) but it was very noisy in the early morning, I could imagine in busier times is worse. Other than that we liked our break and the swimming pool and gym were a plus, we ate at the restaurant for lunch, it was good and dinner at the bar twice, we liked it all, good break! "
