"The staff were brilliant and very helpful with everything we asked for. However, whilst in the bar there was a long wait to be served and guests were having to locate the bar assistant from other parts of the hotel. It may be advantageous to instruct a staff member to be present permamntly, especially when busy. "The property is situated near North Berwick and has beautiful gardens. The building itself is a bit tired. Our room was disappointing for the grade of hotel.
