"A lovely friendly place to stay. Staff were excellent. Only a short walk from the city centre meaning we could park our car for free and leave it for the length of our stay. Evening meal was tasty and cheese and onion pie was plentiful. We didn't have a cooked breakfast but what we had was good ."

"The hotel was beautifully, warm exquisite decor. Going up to the hotel, which seems to be surrounded by a housing estate, you really are not expecting such a delightful place. Had the weather been better we would have appreciated the well maintained gardens more, wonderfully lit up at night. The wide range of drinks at the bar was inviting. The evening meal was a taste sensation and the staff were extremely pleasant. The room was inviting, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast had a beautiful self service and the full breakfast was cooked to our perfection. Beautiful hotel. Only down side no lift to 2nd floor."
