"On getting to our room we found someone was already in there, so had to take some extra time returning to Reception only to find our room had been accidentally given away. This was fairly easily amended, with us being given a different room instead but without a balcony. "I booked 2 rooms, both of which were excellent, very clean and beautifully furnished, recently fitted bathrooms with excellent facilities. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, they made us feel very comfortable in the beautiful location. We really enjoyed our pre dinner drinks by the open fire in the guests lounge and learning about the history as we explored the building. Delicious food, we met the chef who checked our exact needs.
