"Amazing find on the outskirts of Paarl. This historic Cape Dutch farm has bern tastefully decoratrd and restored with "craftsmanship" finishes and great attention to detail. Also a nice lounge with cosy fireplace. It's a small but intimate B&B with only 6 rooms. A beautiful and quiet location worth staying for longer than one night to explore the area and winelands."

"Good: The rooms were comfortable,clean and the bed (mattress) was good. They needed another sheet on the bed (instead of just a comforter as the top sheet). The breakfast each morning was perfect, many choices, and all great tasting. The Staff were very attentive. Bad: The shower had some type of "black worms" coming up thru the drain. I choose this location because they had internet, however internet went out each night around 10pm. "

"The hotel is too far from anything to eat or shop and also is very hard and expensive to get transportation to go anywhere. You cannot repeat the breakfast and everything is charged apart, even the water. The reception does not work 24h and you are completely distant of anything if you need. "

"Babylonstoren is like heaven on earth. It is so beautiful that you have to pinch yourself every day to make sure that you are not dreaming. The staff are all amazing and they take such pride in the farm and the hotel. All of the food is locally sourced on the farm itself or nearby and the quality and freshness was unbelievable.
