Comfortable & clean with excellent breakfast

Very comfortable, large room with quite luxurious interior. All amenities, wi-fi & parking included. Quiet. Beautifully kept gardens. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, efficient staff. Unfortunate glitch: on check out, my friends were charged for 2 rooms despite the fact that it was fully paid for with booking 10 weeks earlier. Trust the payment will be reversed quickly and that their system will be improved so as not to charge rooms twice.

Very nice Room and nice Pool area. Friendly Stuff, nice adds like free coffee... The Location is OK, but we were searching for a wineyard accomodation. This is not connectet to wineyards and the next possiblities for wine tasting are further away and esp. on sundays closed or early closing.

Paarl stay for winelands visiting.

We enjoyed 2 nights here last week. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We were transferred to a downstairs room so we didn’t have to climb the stairs. The only improvement I can suggest would be a bigger pool.

Ideale Basis für Western Cape

Die Unterkunft ist kein übliches Hotel sondern ein herrschaftliches Gebäude, in dem auch die Besitzer leben. Es liegt nicht im Zentrum von Paarl und ist ruhig und vor allem sicher.Das Auto kann man innerhalb des abgeschlossenen Grundstückes parken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich umgehend um etwaige Wünsche. Englisch breakfast, Früchte, Cornflakes, alles was man braucht. Ich war auf der Durchreise und mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Nach Kapstadt sind es ca. 40 min und nach Franschoek 20 min, also idealer Ausgangsort.

Muito bom para família ou casal.

O pessoal foi muito atencioso e simpático. Eu e minha família chegamos muito cansados no dia 24/12 depois de três voos longos. O pessoal preparou um agradável jantar de natal e nos tratou calorosamente. A única crítica ao local é que o café da manhã encerra-se às 08:30 horas o que é muito cedo para férias.

Great lodge, staff delightful, breakfast extraordinary. Just not walking distance to any restaurants in town. Ground beautifully landscaped. Most restaurants at the other end of town. So if you have a car to drive, good place to stay. Otherwise head direct to Franschoek and spend your night there.
