"Amazing find on the outskirts of Paarl. This historic Cape Dutch farm has bern tastefully decoratrd and restored with "craftsmanship" finishes and great attention to detail. Also a nice lounge with cosy fireplace. It's a small but intimate B&B with only 6 rooms. A beautiful and quiet location worth staying for longer than one night to explore the area and winelands."

"Excelente relação custo benefício! A pousada fica em um bairro tranquilo e seguro em Paarl. A proprietária é de uma simpatia inigualável e faz de tudo para proporcionar uma estada agradável, muito melhor que a impessoalidade de um hotel. O quarto é simples, mas decorado com muito bom gosto. Cama confortável, roupa de cama e banho de boa qualidade e limpeza impecável. "

"Good: The rooms were comfortable,clean and the bed (mattress) was good. They needed another sheet on the bed (instead of just a comforter as the top sheet). The breakfast each morning was perfect, many choices, and all great tasting. The Staff were very attentive. Bad: The shower had some type of "black worms" coming up thru the drain. I choose this location because they had internet, however internet went out each night around 10pm. "

"The hotel is too far from anything to eat or shop and also is very hard and expensive to get transportation to go anywhere. You cannot repeat the breakfast and everything is charged apart, even the water. The reception does not work 24h and you are completely distant of anything if you need. "

"Babylonstoren is like heaven on earth. It is so beautiful that you have to pinch yourself every day to make sure that you are not dreaming. The staff are all amazing and they take such pride in the farm and the hotel. All of the food is locally sourced on the farm itself or nearby and the quality and freshness was unbelievable. "Not very impressed! Room outdated but clean some bed side lights not working . Television from the 90’s without one single clear channel thank goodness I had my laptop. Also I booked with breakfast included on Expedia. The GM said no it’s not included. Even when I showed him my confirmation for breakfast he still flatly stated no again and that I would have to pay for it Otherwise room was clean. Just glad I only had one night booked"

"Een prachtige villa in de middle of nowhere. Just what we needed! Wild Olive House is self-service, maar perfect als je met een kleine op vakantie bent. Contact met Vicky van de Farmhouse Guest rooms ging prima. Soms een tikkie stug, maar als je wat langer praat ook gewoon heel vriendelijk. We hebben een Game Drive met Esmeralda gedaan en dat was fantastisch. Heel vriendelijk en een prachtige drive, veel informatie en ondanks dat ze niet de Big Five hebben, voelde het soms zelfs meer bijzonder...
