"This is a beautiful hotel, just renovated and reopened in March 2025 in one of Stellenbosch’s oldest wineries. We enjoyed the knowledgeable wine tasting by Sommelier Tyson who also assisted us with a fine wine at the charming open kitchen restaurant. Everything is farm to table, fresh and excellent. Enjoyed the walks and the art installations as well. The service was so outstanding, we only had to mention we needed something to have someone immediately appear to help."

"Spacious and very comfortable rooms in a delightful property. Excellent staff, if a little too formal / deferential at times. Only thing I can score it down for is attention to detail on housekeeping -teapot and cup not cleaned away one day. Stairs and hall carpet needs a vacuum. Would recommend especially for the tranquility. "

"The rooms were great and the area is beautiful. The location being near farms means there are plenty chances of insects entering the room so need to keep the doors tidy shut. Super quiet hotel with only healthy food choices by design. If you are looking to meditate this is your place. "

"This hotel is a fantastic base for a visit to the wine region. The hotel is a short drive from Franschhoek with the hotel providing an excellent shuttle bus service. The staff could not be any more friendly or obliging if they tried and we really felt at home here. The only gripe is that the pool beds are not that comfortable but otherwise this a hotel I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again."

"Great location just a few minutes stroll to Franschhoek cafes and restaurants. Warm and friendly welcome from Carol and Johannes and the other staff. The room was comfortable but would benefit from a spruce up as looked a bit tired, particularly the bathroom. Also there was a very strange smell coming from the bathroom but this could well have been from drains. "
