"We stayed in the new Cary Grant suite, which was beautiful! A kitchenette and large living space with a large bedroom and bathroom, an amazing view, and a lovely private patio looking out over a koi pond. It was perfect. The location is great but it does require ascending two steep inclines to get to the room. Service, however, was lacking and communication was poor. Breakfast was not at all worth the modest 11E charge. We had breakfast twice in our 5 day stay and both times there was just dry...

"Very good hotel in excellent location for easy walking access to Bergerac, including the old town. Didn’t try breakfast as had an early flight. Room was very comfortable, with aircon and fridge a godsend in 33C. Unfortunately didn’t get chance to use pool as only in Bergerac for 1 day. Note: no reception after about 9pm, but door code provided. "

"Truly beautiful setting, wonderfully elegant. Dining on the terrace with hot air balloons floating on the horizon- so picturesque. Wonderful place. Indoor and outdoor pools provide excellent relaxation. Many good restaurants nearby, but we were happy breakfasting and dining at the chateau. "

"Nous avons passé un week-end incroyable dans cet hôtel. Le service est tout simplement exceptionnel, d’un niveau qu’on rencontre rarement en France. Les hôtes sont attentionnés, professionnels et ont un vrai sens de l’accueil. Le cadre est superbe, calme et raffiné, avec un accès à pied au centre-ville, ce qui est un vrai plus ici. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, varié et de qualité. Une adresse précieuse que nous recommandons sans hésiter. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !"

"We loved everything about our stay - the room, the bed, the amazing selections and made to order items at Breakfast. ...and while it was a bit too cool outside to try out the pool, relaxing in the gardens and watching the boats and canoes go by on the river was one of the highlights of our trip. Ouafaa was the hostess with the mostest! We will definitively be back! We also loved that we could walk to 6-8 restaurants on the path from the garden for dinner - so nice not to have to drive and find...
