"The castle and its grounds are stunning and great to explore and the village right outside the gates is lovely too. The roaming peacocks were a true highlight as well! Unfortunately the room was not very clean and quite worn down, specially the bathroom. Breakfast was ok but the food at dinner was unfortunately not recommendable"

"Really enjoyable experience, lovely setting and really helpful staff. The only issue was with the air conditioning not working during this heatwave. Would be good to be fixed to avoid this. Great experience however and really good facilities"

"Nice place, very clean overall. Had a few hiccups, lady at the desk kept getting the numbers 6 and 9 mixed up and sent us with the wrong key and then sent staff to the wrong caravan. The cot was not already in the caravan, had to ring up to get it, was delivered but smelt of smoke and was broken and had to take it back. A staff member caught us halfway to the reception and kindly took it and got us a brand new one. Overall the customer service is top notch and everyone was very friendly and...

"We had a lovely stay, the place was nice, it was close to some lovely walks on the beach and in nature parks. We liked our hot tub but it was just a tad too hot and it wouldn’t cool down with the controls, we even left the top open and it stayed at 40 degrees, we couldn’t stay in for very long. The shower was either boiling or freezing but we still enjoyed and can’t wait to go back some day :)"

"2 nights in a family room in this beautiful old building; tea, coffee etc provided. The children had great fun searching for the peacocks. We ate at the hotel on the first evening; good food and excellent service. The changing room in the swimming pool is small but that didn't matter as the pool was quiet and the children had 4 swimming sessions during our stay. Reception staff were friendly and efficient - we will be hopefully, going back soon!"

"As basic as they get. Just enough to meet your needs for 1 or 2 nights. The price felt fair for what you got…a bed, shower and tv. Having said that, the mattress needs replacing and the shower had no soap in it."
