"The pool is amazing! Rooms were updated. I had issues with the internet in my room, but front desk guy Suchin fixed me right up. He was great in helping me order the aiport shuttle and extend my stay. He was very calming during my situation. My room had some hair on the table that was not mine and there was a ceiling light that was blinking cause it was going out. Reported it to Suchin. Restaurant was ok, ordered the fruit platter and onion soup twice. Nice to have room service. "

"Ein sehr stilvolles und typisches Hotel auf Sri Lanka. Durch die Nebensaison hatten wir Set Menu zum Frühstück. Fand ich Klasse. Die Zimmer 201 sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Roomservice war perfekt. Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag super gereinigt und abends wurde so gar das Bett zum Schlafen aufgedeckt. Das Essen und der Service excellent. Ich kann das Hotel weiterempfehlen."

"Beautiful lagoon-front self-contained hotel, room was spotless, staff the most courteous and helpful I’ve ever met. Lagoon tour (arranged by front desk) was peaceful, full of birds, Captain Rohan a fantastic guide to birds and wildlife. Transportation to Negombo is via tuktuk, driver Asim polite and exceptionally kind (provided tour of Negombo and a short errand for salt and Type G adapter for my travels, Amagi Aria has universal outlets but the rest of Sri Lanka has Type G). "I had read some not so great reviews before leaving however I found Amora Lagoon a lovely hotel. It is a hotel in another country so things aren’t always going to be exactly what you expect from a local hotel however I found it quite pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was clean and beautiful, the room clean and comfortable with air conditioning and only a few minutes drive to the airport. The shower pressure in two of the three rooms we stayed in was not fantastic but again...

Vi havde 3 nætter og skulle det ske at vi kommer til Negombo igen, så vil vi bo på dette dejlige sted igen. Værelserne er fine til prisen og poolen er ren. Morgenmaden er okay Det er også muligt at købe frokost og aftensmad på stedet og maden er helt fantastisk."
