"It's the grounds that made me fall in love with this place. Intimate & beautiful but big enough that you can stretch out your legs by strolling through well cared for gardens. Lots of flowers. A small bubbling river wraps around the property & there is this perfect spot along the river where you can sit on a bench and take in the sounds of the forest and the view of mountains in the distance. "We had a very particular Nil room. You have to reach the and leave the room with a boat. To get out from the room you need to contact the reception with wifi which was not available all the time .This made a challenging stay and also very particular.You are in the nature .As all is widows it might be a little bit hot in day time. Altogether very particular stay with a very attentive staff ."

"We were upgraded to a deluxe room with lake view. The room is clean and spacious with mini bar, air con, large TV and a super big bathroom. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He offered our driver accommodation and meal during the stay. The location is not the best, around 15-min drive from Dambulla. Not a problem for us as we hired a car throughout the trip.
