"5 stars hands down. Exactly like the pics but even better in person. Host was helpful, nice, and informative. She personally greeted us, gave us a tour of the whole property, and helpful information about the island. We rented the treehouse and im so glad we did. Very unique one with earth and a fun experience that is different from the regular hotels that people are use to. Gave it more of an island vibe. Mosquito spray is a must have. The Ritz Village Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Stayed at The Ritz Village for 7 days in their advertised Penthouse Suite. However don’t be fooled by the word Penthouse lol. The room was small very small but the view was Penthouse worthy. They are very stingy with towels and they don’t give you wash clothes so bring your own. I always travel with my own personal items. The service was great, the food just ok but it is in a prime location. If you wanted to you could walk to the mambo attractions. Great stay!"

"It was right there on the Inlet had really nice beach and white sand very calm. Just a beautiful place and laid-back. Plenty of restaurants right there at the resort the food was excellent. We went to quite a few different places and did not find a bad restaurant. Very enjoyable. Will stay there again loved it."

"My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in mid June. First, compared to other resorts that are within walking distance of downtown. Avila has the best private beach. There are plenty of beach chairs and palapas. The outside areas are well maintained. The staff was friendly. On that topic, it does take some time to get used to “island time” some cultures (especially American) might perceive the bar service as slow or inattentive, but others perceive it as laid back. The beach bar (Schooner Bar) was very laid back as a beach bar should be. Clyde was great and very attuned to the guests. We ate at Blues Caribbean Kitchen twice. The food was very good, but the portions are on the small side. I had the best coconut ceviche I have ever had, but it was served with only 3 plantain chips. The service at Blues was very friendly. The manager on duty checked on us and was delightful. I love to snorkel and I was able to find a few areas just outside the jetty with some solid coral and plenty of tropical fish. Our room was clean with a modern aesthetic and a very firm comfortable bed. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and I would visit again."

"We had a great stay. It is very nice being able to go back and forth to the sister resort. It made it feel very spacious. A lot of food options. Beaches and pools are very nice and clean. Very accommodating staff. Overall, we had a great stay."
