"Place had everything to welcome us in. Tea, coffee, biscuits, water, etc. Soft towels, good bed, excellent breakfast. I’d give it 5 stars but don’t want to raise expectations too much. For the price point, it’s excellent value. Better than most B&Bs in its class. Bathroom and TV were functional but small. If size of either is a big deal to you, be advised."

"We are so grateful for our unexpected stay at The Hayes Hotel! After accessibility issues at our original Cork hotel, a last-minute search led us here. Finding comfortable space for four adults in Europe can be tough, but this setup in charming Thurles was perfect. We checked in around 8:40 PM, starving after traveling all day. "This was our second stay at this lovely Lodge. Small, cosy, but more than enough room inside. Avril and Michael are great hosts and live next door for any questions you might need. It's a lovely rural location in tipperary and you can't beat the peace and quietness of the countryside here. Taxi drivers are available and Avril will provide you with the details if needed.
