"WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. "

"Clean and staff was helpful. Check in/out was smooth. Location was ideal because we wanted to explore Connemara and hike Croagh Patrick nearby. Breakfast was amazing and fueled us well for our hike."

"The hotel was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and very clean.
The highlights were the spa and the breakfast. The salmon was the best I have ever tasted."

"We ended up staying in Hotel Newport at very short notice. Staff were lovely and although rooms were dated, they were clean. Did not spot the kettle the first night so was disappointed by that as I thought there was none. However, the cupboard that contained the tea/coffee etc was pointed out to me the next day - would have preferred it's location to be more obvious. Cooked breakfast choice was excellent and the food served was good quality. Unexpectedly got to join the town's Nephin Beggers...
