"The decor was modern and quirky . The staff were helpful and friendly The roof top restaurant was nice inside but not much to view. However the food was brilliant and the staff were really good Rooms functional and clean. Good powerful shower with plenty of hot water. The hotel was 5-10 minutes easy walk to centre"

"This was a last minute booking so not much available in Galway. Hotel was average at best for the cost. Room decor needs an upgrade. Please note, rooms aren’t air conditioned and ours was really warm considering Galway temps didn’t get above 15 C. "

"We had a beautiful waterview room. The room was beautiful. I only wish we had more time! The falcon walk with Collin and Mary was more than we hoped for. It is as the book says "one of the thousand things to do before you die". The afternoon tea was delightful. We also had dinner in the Dungeon Room. The front desk did all our reservations before we arrived. We are looking forward to a return trip!"

"Reception desk was helpful and great. Rooms were fine although they do not replace towels or come to replace used coffee cups. Electrical outies are inconveniently placed with mirrors unavailable near them to use for getting ready, drying hair, etc. Unless you pay for the full breakfast you can’t get coffee other than what’s in the room which is sub par. Had to ask twice for more coffee supplies. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great location. "

"My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It was very comfortable. Staff at the reception desk were helpful. The room was spacious with two comfortable bed. It was conveniently located: 20 minutes walk to the city center and 7 minutes walk to Galway Shopping center. It was 10 euros by taxi to the city center bus stop. We had dinner at Gatto Rosso at the Square and coffee at Cafe Nero. We did 2 bus tours: one was to Cliffs of Moher and Burren; the other was to Kylemore Abbey. Both were...

"Excellent breakfast menu! I also enjoyed visiting the gym facilities. The room was small but had what we needed. The bathroom does not have a fan and only a 1/2 shower wall causing the entire bath floor to get wet."

"The setting of this hotel is beautiful, and as long as you have a car, it’s easy to get around - we used it for a base for the Galway area. Our stay included breakfast, which was lovely. We even had it in our room one day. A few draw backs for us was: the front desk staff, who were pretty rude and unhelpful when we checked in (but we are used to American level of friendliness of service) Also how early everything closed, the kitchen closes at nine even on a weekend… I wish we had known…"

"The property was very comfortable and the staff were sweet but it wasn’t really like a five star hotel. At the restaurant plates were whisked away before you barely finished eating and in the spa the tile heated chairs didn’t work and when I told the spa person she said “I’ll check!” and she never returned. I went to find her and she’d gone for the day. Lots of little things like that you’d never find at another 5 star hotel."

"The room was exactly what I needed, typical European small shower to be expected. Good location for walking and great Scon place across the street for a quick breakfast before grabbing a tour (a 4 minute walk to Wild Atlantic Tours). "

"Amazing little spot with perfect sized rooms. We were two couples travelling together and the rooms suited our needs perfectly. The staff was very accommodating and check in/out was a breeze. Cannot recommend this property enough. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer! "
