"The location is very close to the eyre square , the bus station and many restaurants, they have a bar a small breakfast and coffee shop. It is a little noisy at night but if you wear your earplugs you should be fine."

Our issue with Nox Hotel was that there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the room was constantly humid and smelled damp. We tried to crack open the window only to find that they were completely locked. No AC either which was honestly expected but combined with the inability to open the window was awful."

"The room was rather Spartan. No drawers for clothes. Plumbing was primitive( some sort of pump toilet). All electric was slave to key card. No idea how to turn on anything including coffee brewer, individual light switches, and several room lights. Only a comforter on the bed, no sheets resulting in much too warm or really chilly. All this aside, the place was very congenial and well situated to the wonderful city of Galway.Any review would be incomplete without mentioning the marvelous FOOD!...

"This review is somewhat of a challenge. The room was very good. The breakfasts were very good. Staff were friendly enough - the staff st the bar always appeared disinterested. The staff for breakfast were very conscientious. There was a serious problem a security matter. At about 1 a.m., a guy was screaming next to my room. He was screaming vile profanity and this was alarming. I complained to staff the next morning and it appeared the matter was taken very seriously. The guy...

"Great hotel. Room was compact but well equipped with everything you need. Don’t expect big closets and lots of room for luggage etc. This hotel is right in center of Dublin so great to walk to all of the attractions. I only rate it 4* because of the fact that parking is 100m away in a public carpark, and lugging cases to and fro was a bit of pain."
