"A wonderful experience staying at Cabra Castle. The staff were the best and went out of their way to ensure that we were seated in different spaces for each of our meals so we got to see more of the castle…attention to details were greatly appreciated! The food was delicious. We left well fed and well rested! The staff were extremely helpful and made personal connections."

"I’m not deducting a star for the rather unpleasant member of staff in the bar last night (Sunday 10.45pm ) However, it’s worth mentioning as management need to stub it out before it affects ratings. Unhelpful, unpleasant and came across as quite rude. It’s a shame as one of the duty managers made our drinks the previous evening and he was friendly and helpful throughout our interaction with him. The cocktail he made me was excellent. One of the best I’ve had. The hotel is lovely and well located, albeit parking is a nightmare. By all means park outside to offload passengers and luggage - you’ve got a maximum of 20 mins. You need to either park in the public car park 100yds away (chargeable) or at the Glasshouse underground car park (€12 per night) located nearby. The hotel has a few spaces but they’re always taken. I would assume by the guests from high end rooms. Our basic room was nice but a bit small and the shower cubicle was really tiny. All that said, we enjoyed our stay."

"Everything really clean. Comfortable bed and staff ultra friendly. Breakfast was great. Good family hotel. Only downside was lighting in the bedroom. Could have done with bedside lamp switch nearer to the bed and more central lighting in the room. Otherwise a great place to stay"
