"We had a great stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the room and how large it was. After being stuck in a double bed and sleeping in the same room as our kids, the 2 rooms and king sized beds was absolute heaven! We had a great view of the ski lift but it was quite busy and loud so I would recommend asking for a higher floor to combat this. We will definitely be back!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Grizz Hotel. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the room was clean and modernized. We were very happy that there was a Continental Breakfast and it was well stocked. My only suggestion is to put a stand in the room for a suitcase, we had to use the table to lay our suitcase on. We would definitely stay at the Grizz Hotel again. "

"It’s a two star room with a five star property and experience! What an interesting historical site and true family owned business experience. An idiosyncratic sight around every corner, and the ghost town has a massive pile of fascinating antiques, the roundhouse full of old train cars worth the half price admission when you book at the hotel. I wouldn’t get the train as an extra though. The food at the hotel is also two star but affordable and gets the job done. Overall, a truly one of a kind place and worth it as a museum of Trans Canada’s past. "

"This is hotel w best view location, who's seeking calm environment and peaceful natural environment! Room w fire place loacated 10 feet away from most beautiful Emerald lake site area. Every staff were so nice and professional. Our family love it! We highly recommend for anyone! "
