"The outdoor pool and area were very lovely. The staff were friendly and personable: (3 generations!) Some English was spoken, which was rare in Uruguay. Breakfast was extensive, with many baked goods."

"Extremely clean hotel and it is quite old so was surprised how well they keep it up. The staff were very accommodating for our wants and needs. Breakfast was your typical South American breakfast but was impressed with the quantity and quality. Again staff were great in the breakfast area. Comfy bed, good wifi. Very close to restaurants, historic area and beaches."
