"We recently stayed at the Gamboa Rainforest Reserve, and the hotel is ideally located right in the heart of the rainforest. There are plenty of activities available, and you can easily sign up for tours and excursions during your stay.
The staff were excellent. We had originally booked three nights but decided to shorten our stay to two nights, and the hotel accommodated the change without any issues. The food and service at the restaurants were exceptional.
The property is definitely showing...

"Credit Card was skimmed at the Marina Hotel/restaurant. Only used this particular card in one place during my days in Panama...at check-in, and to pay for a pizza at the restaurant. Had unauthorized charges less than 3 hours later."

"The property is extremely dated with a strong mildew smell. There were humidifiers everywhere. I would suggest putting some money into the property to update it. The staff were helpful and pleasant. I would say the best thing about our stay was the close proximity to the port."
