"Our room was aweful. Floor was so dirty, I had to leave my shoes on. One of the beds had stains so we didn't even use it. Our bathroom had no toilet paper loaded AND there was NO SHOWER CURTAIN! Our TV had no remote control so we couldn't change the channel from "adult swim" channel. Also, the alarm clock didn't work. After 14 hrs of driving that day, I was looking forward to a nice place to shower and recouperate for the next day of 12 more hrs of driving - I did not get that (and for $130!):...

"The property was exactly what we expected from a route 66 era motel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking was right in front of the motel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaints would be the shower curtain needed washing, a mattress pad needed under the sheet, and a hand towel holder for the bathroom."
