"I like to stay at HI X when possible. I had seen other reviews of this one saying excellent. I don’t think I could go that far though. Staff was very friendly which I value. I could see the hotel needs a little bit of TLC. The grounds had some weeds and sticker plants getting out of control especially near the front door. The pool was good except for lots of dirt around the windows. Breakfast was really good. My room was clean and bed good. I had some problems getting my shower to function, but that was on me. The tub had no stopper, so I had to improvise for a small bath. Overall I would rate this hotel as a good stay. It just needs a little more attention to detail in some areas. Thanks."
