"The place is clean and i like the pre call prior check in . Furniture a bit out dated but tidy. The only thing i dont like was a bit noisy due to the outside heat pump exhaust "

"Spot clean you could lick the floor anywhere. My room was a small one and yet felt great. Comfortable bed, great bathroom a nice big screen TV, but... I could not understand how to find my way through the multiple possibilities and the subtleties of finding the programme I wanted to watch (simply TVNZ1, the news), which eventually I could not find... small problem at all as I was too tired by the rest of the day to really watch TV.
The staff was nice, friendly, helpful, always smiling and polite...

"Golden hotel is the perfect stay once landing in Christchurch and before leaving again. Very clean and nice space. Staff is also responsive and kind with inquiries. There is a Vietnamese cafe right on the main lobby so very convenient for a quick pick me up. Overall, would stay here again so definitely recommend!"

"This was a great location and fairly priced. The hosts go out of their way to provide extras like each towels. Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. There are lots of restaurants nearby along with grocery, pharmacy, and coffee shops. "
