"All good. The room had a bathroom with assistive equipment. Not asked for. Difficult to use. Basin had no cold water to run a toothbrush under. Toilet was lower than normal. A very odd experience"

"Really good Hotel, very central, very helpful staff, excellent inclusive breakfast. We were not happy with our room, which was noisy from traffic outside .Eventually we changed, albeit at an extra cost. All in all, would recommend"

"The property is a beautiful, yet old hotel with a rich history. However, my stay was not great. Front desk staff, if they’re there, act as if you’re an inconvenience - one gentleman was outrightly rude. I had questions about the train and opted to walk to the station and ask instead of risking another unpleasant interaction. Tap in bathroom broken, room not cleaned for the entirety of the stay. Could not reach the hotel by phone or email to let them know of my cancelled flight and late check in....

"Always stay at the Liner with my friend and have done for many years . Lovely ,friendly hotel .Handy for everything in the city .Staff are smashing and attentive . Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable which is what you need after going round my favourite city. Thank you"

"Room was on the basement floor with no natural lighting. The shower backed up and flooded. Shower wasn’t very clean. The bathroom fixtures were broken and hanging off the wall. For the cost, it was disappointing. The staff were very lovely."

"Rooms where clean and staff was very friendly with a great location. A little difficult to reach staff before check-in time (11am), but this doesn't take away from the overall experience significantly in my opinion."
