Hotels in Chalatenango Department with Complimentary Breakfast

"The hotel was pleasant and well kept for the most part. The pool could use some maintenance, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the customer service by the woman in the front office was lacking. Three of the people in our party were leaving at 5am the next morning to hike a volcano. Because breakfast was included in our stay and they wouldn't be there for it, I asked if the kitchen could please give them something simple to take, even just bread, and she said that wasn't possible because the kitchen wouldn't be open that early. The kitchen was open in the evening when I asked her, so someone could've just grabbed some, but she wasn't willing to do that. For a pricey hotel it was disappointing that they couldn't accommodate a very simple request, especially because bread was part of the breakfast plate that's included. The hotel also doesn't allow guests to bring food in from outside to eat in their room. The staff at the bar/restaurant were wonderful and helpful, but the lady at the front desk was quite rude. I also asked for an additional key because we were 4 adults with different plans, but I was told that wasn't possible either. "

"I couldn't get a towel after swimming. My family had to use a used towel. I went to the reception, but they didn't bring it to me, and there was no answer from the evening and I didn't see anyone. Everything was perfect except for the service above. The lake was so beautiful."
