"I had a great time room was beautiful, plunge pool was mainly hot due to the sun felt like a hot tub which im not complaining about. The misuse was amazing I highly recommend getting a massage from her a great experience. Only thing I'd give 2 stars was the food it was alight, definitely could have been better. The staff was always there when I needed them very attentive to every need."

"We had an incredible stay here. The pools were beautiful and well kept. Food was good, of course pricier than local options but still fairly priced and fresh. The landscaping and grounds and boardwalk were a dream though. Amazing work they have done here. It has to be decades of tending and pruning. The property manager was able to help us with our tour plans as well. We found cave tubing and ziplining through her connection to be cheaper than booking online."

"We loved staying at the Villa Massis! They have created a piece of paradise. The room was perfect and comfortable, air conditioning was great, the pool was refreshing after busy days of tours. They served yummy food options and were attentive to details. Their new riverside bar area with a deck and steps down to the river is a fun and gorgeous setting. "Absolutely loved this property! It's gorgeous and the staff is amazing! The rooms are spacious and honeymoon vibe. We went during the dry season which is the hottest so be prepared for the humidity and lots of stairs. If you are a light sleeper I recommend you being earplugs because the wild life dont care if youre sleep deprived. Food and drinks were so good and we definitely will be back!"

"I loved this place and wished I could stay longer. My room had a tilapia roof and it felt like a cozy nest. Lots of hot water in the shower! Staff all amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, super helpful. Tried restaurant twice. Food, service , ambience wonderful. Convenient walk to town and stores, bank, etc. Last but not least the resident cat Luna made me feel right at home."

"The property was in the heart of town, walking distance to anything and everything. Extremely convenient in that regard. The rooms and pool facilities were very, very clean. It’s a dated property that’s seen some upgrades, that’s the best way I can describe it. The A/C works like a damn, the beds and pillows are alright, and there’s free water to fill your bottles conveniently on every floor. The wifi is spotty at best. Overall satisfied with our stay."

It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Solar powered and sustainable, it’s clear that the management values the environment it is in.
