"Great pools. Room was clean. Nice to have shuttle as long walk to pool area. "

"The hotel was older but quaint and "typical" of Costa Rica. The rooms were spacious, with good air conditioning and had own bathtub outside. Had a nice big bathroom with a waterfall shower. Dissapointed that there were hardly any views from the cabins because there was too much vegetation-(do not cut the beautiful trees) However, it makes it very beautiful and private. Saw tons of birds, monkeys and even an aguouti! I do wish we had hammocks like we saw some rooms had. There was a nice view from the pool and restaurant. Like that it is not huge so not a huge amount of tourists. Dissapointed that it only had one small pool/hot springs and property not very big - wish had a "sendero" to take walks in the forest. The room service has nice presentation but taste was average- Breakfast not so great. Service was not consistent and some of the workers seemed like "forced to be nice". Overall it was average 3 star ...not a 4 star and definitely way overpriced. (We were there during Spring Break) Perhaps low season is way better prices. Cute but would not stay there again."

"This hotel is like a water park feel and they focus on their day pass customers. This hotel is overly priced for a poor customer service they provide for their hotel occupants. The view from the Felix room was all blocked by construction and we reported that to the staff. The staff is not trained well to handle and talk to customers. They did not explain the amenities and services available to us. You don’t have access to food being in the swim attire in the hot springs. There’s no easy service available to pay for the food or services. I would rather not pay $1100/ night for a hotel that doesn’t care for their customers and will a calm place and use these places for 3 hr pass."

"Nice hotel for La Fortuna area. Less rustic than the other options but you still had the jungle flavor. The swim up bar in the pool was nice as well as the secluded hot tub area. The TV reception in our room was fuzzy. Otherwise pretty good. Breakfast that was included was pretty decent as well, omelettes made to order etc "

"Everything in town was in walking distance. The room itself was big and very clean with a beautiful view right outside it. The staff were all very kind and eager to help. Breakfast was included and made fresh every morning. We will definitely be back if in La Fortuna again! "
