"This property was incredible. The staff were friendly and incredibly attentive. Excursions were fun. Our only negative was the food. Breakfast was perfect every morning at the market but the remaining meals were fair at best."

"The ocean was not really accessible, too many rocks. Most of the staff was not friendly especially at the buffet restaurant. The food wasn't that great, there weren't that many options. The nightly shows weren't that entertaining. They had a pool bar next to the pool but you couldn't access the bar if you were wet. Don't see the point of a pool bar if you can't get to it. We saw vomit in the pool and no one came to clean it. After an hour we told someone else and the pool guy just dismissed us...

"While the staff was amazing and the property was very beautiful, the roads to get to the hotel were not paved. Not only were they not paved but at some point they (local government) closed the entrance and no one was notified. It took me contacting the hotel so the concierge could walk us through how to get to the hotel. It was not until two days later when I complained that we received a letter and a map. This was not well planned with the city. Very disappointing."

The hotel is close to downtown tamarindo which is a plus if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation away from the busy downtown. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back if we get the chance."

"Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was great and not to be missed. We enjoyed the evening cocktail at sunset provided by the hotel a short walk down a path to the beach. Monkeys in the trees and beautiful birds. We traveled with 4 teenagers who loved the location, walkable to town, or short uber. Fun shopping and local restaurants on the beach. Ocean is swimmable with local rentals in town. Villas are spacious and well stocked with kitchen, large living room. Staff was very helpful...

"Loved loved loved. This hotel is a small family owned property. The family is kind and helpful. They were attentive to our every need. When we arrived we had ants, but they quickly took care of it. The place is super cute and close to everything I could possibly need. A short walk to the beach and lots of places to eat. I would stay here again. Bonus: we had a cat on our patio the three days we were there. She is super sweet and wonderful."

"My stay here was short but sweet. The beach was less than 10 min walking and the hotel is located right in between several food spots and the grocery store. The breakfast is really good everything tasted fresh, staff was super helpful shoutout to Tatiana, Juan Carlos and Henry . Will definitely be back soon!"
