"A short hour+ drive from Liberia. Bahia del Sol was a pleasant surprise. A very quiet beach with restaurants, bars, and other amenities within walking distance. The grounds are beautiful.
We were there in the rainy season but it was fine. Arrival day it rained most of the afternoon and evening. The next day it rained in the evening, but we got 3 solid days of sunshine and breezes.
Parking is a bit tight, but we always got a spot.
Free breakfast each morning, although the selection was limited. I suspect they'd have made us most anything we wanted.
The staff was wonderful. So friendly and helpful. This is our 4th time to the pacific coast, Samara, Tamarindo twice, and Potrero. We liked this one the best, it was so quiet, although that may have been mainly due to the time of year. I think there were only half a dozen or so occupied rooms. I'd actually go back during the rainy season again!"
