"Amazing"

"The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The restaurants and breakfast were above standard, with a great selection of healthy and nutritious options. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the pool or spa, we really enjoyed the included boat cruise to downtown Lucerne, it was an amazing experience! Yes, the hotel is expensive, but considering the high-quality breakfast and the beautiful boat ride directly to the center of Lucerne, it was definitely well worth the money."

"The hotel is in a nice location in Beckenried with great views of the lake from the balcony. The room itself was a little dated. It would be much more pleasant to stay there during the warmer months if they had air conditioning. And the room was lacking a refrigerator which most hotels have these days. The breakfast buffet was very good and offered a nice variety of food options."

"Incredibly clean, the beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. My favourite was probably the fruit and muesli youghurt bowl. Yum yum! And the balcony dining area was simply spectacular. The staff was very helpful with questions and I just simply have nothing bad to say over all! Highly recommend. To be noted that while there’s no AC, the coolers were more than enough!"

"Hatte bei 6 Nächten das Zimmer nur 1 mal reinigen lassen und es wurde in 10 min nur grob gereinigt (ich saß auf dem Balkon in der Zeit). Klopapier wurde nicht aufgefüllt und auch nicht gesaugt. Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich ausreichend und hatte einen tollen Blick auf den See. Aber wie fast immer in den Hotelzimmern fehlen Haken an den Wänden, um Jacken oder sonstiges aufzuhängen, man muss das meiste über Stühle, Sessel oder Türen hängen. "Die Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das ganze Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber ordentlich und sauber. Wir haben es für einen Zwischenstopp auf unseren Weg nach Italien gewählt. Dafür war es vollkommen ausreichend."

"I had to call reception an hour and a half after check in to find out where my luggage was? The room was so small with no ventilation or air conditioning so we had to open the windows even though there were stickers on them advising us not to, we know now why that is the case as we are covered in bites! I could not even have a drink of tea in my room or my wife coffee as I asked for milk to be placed in room but it seems room service is not available for my standard of room. The towels were only...

"Was a lovely place to stay, however we weren't aware that the hotel was not staffed after 1 pm on a Monday, also the restaurant was closed on Monday but they did suggest recommendations. The only other small but strange thing was the mini bar was communal in the outer Hall. Although we were self check in on the Monday, the staff we saw on the Tuesday were very helpful"

"My husband, 20 year old daughter and I were pleasantly surprised with these accommodations. When we opened the door to our room, the blast of cool air from the air conditioning was so welcome after having many days of sweltering hot and humid days without any AC. Then we turned the corner and our jaws dropped from the views from all windows. What a paradise!!!
