"I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I booked a Deluxe room with a pool view, but upon arrival I was given a “comfort garden” room instead, which did not have any meaningful garden view. The plants outside the room were identical to those throughout the hallways, so it felt misleading.
When I asked about the room discrepancy, Angela at the front desk explained that only garden rooms accommodate three people, which I understand. However, I was still charged the higher Deluxe room rate. When I requested a partial refund due to this downgrade, Veronica said she would speak with the manager and advised me to contact Expedia.
At checkout, I followed up with Angela but was told there was no update. After contacting Expedia, they reached out to the hotel and informed me that the hotel refused to issue any partial refund.
Additionally, the experience was disappointing from the start. Our room was not ready upon arrival, I had to request additional towels, and the room itself showed signs of poor maintenance, including water damage, cracked walls, and overall lack of cleanliness.
Overall, the service, communication, and room quality did not match what was advertised or what I paid for. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience."
