"This a unique experience. Staff was very helpful and their breakfast which we had one morning was delicious. We even managed to get Italian food delivered (easier with USD cash). The view is unbelievable and we definitely enjoyed as a family with 2 teenagers. Note that like all roads in Costa Rica, always better with a 4WD car. We had a simple 4x4 SUV and we had no issue driving (slowly) the 1.5km or so to get to the property even under set season rain. Again, great experience if you are looking...

We booked a room last minute after our original accommodations didn’t work out and the owners were so accommodating, letting us check in early and taking care of everything (including dinnner!) "We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor.
