"The hotel is an old 19th Century, if not earlier, residence in the heart of the Spanish colonial city with only ten rooms, and a short walk from the malecon. It had charming courtyards and was absolutely magical. Room, staff, breakfast, room all up to first class international standards. A real treat in a really lovely Mexican city."

"Wonderful spot especailly to visit calakmul, if you have a car. No tv or wifi in room is great to relax with each other. A few bugs but it is the jungle. Only issue was hotels internet that didnt show i prepaid. Had reciepts so they took photo of reciept, that was it, no problem. Friendly staff, wish i could have stayed longer to partake more.
