Shuttle bus is so useful for getting into and back out of the town itself (the hotel is some distance and quite high up a hillside). Food was great. Only negative was that the gents toilets under the stairway at ground floor level really need refurbishment, like putting some working locks on the doors. I only used these once, preferred to use our room if needed. Would definitely come again without...

"Hotel Bellevue is a warm, family-run hotel that feels different from the other large luxury hotels in Amafi (in a good way). The owner was so sweet- he upgraded our rooms, gave us free parking and breakfast! The hotel is a short 15min walk to the heart of Amalfi and well worth it! Plus you never feel like you’re in the midst of the chaotic crowds of tourists. The last night, we sat on their beautiful terrace, enjoying home-made lemon chello from the owner! We will come back :) "

"Location and property is great, clean, bit small but good heating, toiletries, freeze, basic kitchen stuff(no toaster), calm area with swimming pool, local grocery needs, beach (not sand or rock so not suitable for small kids) within complex. Also Table tennis tables(didn’t know). They have shuttle from Sorrento (Grand Hotel) takes Euro 2 per person per trip (keep cash) 10 mins drive or take EAV bus from main station drop you in front of village gate. Don’t take local Taxi if as they will...

The building and property is located up the hill from the town but it is very walkable to everything you need and a short distance to the popular areas. The room was clean and well maintained. The parking was a standard price for most hotels that do not offer it for free but it was great that valet service was included in it. Overall it was a fantastic stay and experience. "

The rooms are trying a bit too hard to be hip and trendy.The area of Naples the hotel is in was surprisingly dirty, even given the reputation of the city for its trash issue. If I were going to be spending more time in Naples itself, I might find a different neighborhood, even if the hotel itself was nice. "
