"Friendly welcome, but the room was not as described (small shower instead of bathroom), the outdoor seating area was cramped & unappealing, I had a car parked outside my bedroom window all night that seemed to be getting more attention than the average celebrity, and the fridge sounded like iit was suffering from emphysema. A unique experince, but not quite of the kind I was hoping for!"

"Camdeboo Cottages are located in a very safe area, you can walk everywhere in Graaff-Reinet. The welcome was a bit cold but the service was good. However breakfast wasn't brilliant although the setting was, you're seated in the shade next to the pool in the inner courtyard. You can park right in front of your cottage. The room was great and clean but dated. It is a historic monument that's recently been refurbished."

His knowledge of fossils & the areas ~300 mio earth history was most appreciated and valuable! The amazing clear E.Cape Karoo night sky's is in tough competition with N.Cape's Sutherland. "Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Julia empfangen, wir kamen früher an als geplant und sie war sofort da. Unser Zimmer (Room 1) war super schön, modern und makellos sauber mit modernem Bad. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen (auch dank des Mückennetzes). Julia war eine großartige Gastgeberin, sie hat direkt bei unserer Ankunft schon für uns ein Restaurant reserviert, ohne sie hätten wir abends keinen Tisch nehr bekommen.
