"What a wonderful hotel. In addition to being in a superb location, the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us with a booking situation and were so kind. Just lovely people. We highly recommend."

"The room and property were beautiful and well kept. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The bar was not staffed in the evening and so we drove into town. "

"The hotel was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The in-room shower was powerful with plenty of hot water, although the shower head was fixed at waist height, meaning you had to hold it while showering.
Communal areas felt a little shabby in places, though they were generally clean. It was disappointing that bottled water was charged to the room, which didn’t feel justified given the overall price; however, staff were attentive and removed this charge at checkout when raised.
