"We were the only people staying here for the evening and the family made us feel very welcome! The room was clean and tidy with ample space for our family of 4. Clean towels and a bonus heated radiator! The gentleman got up in the morning to make a lovely breakfast for us with lots of choices. "This is not a 4 star establishment. We have stayed on better 3 star. The property itself is beautiful but it is run down and with basic facilities, we went for breakfast at 9am and they had run out of most food items, no staff around to assist. Had to go to reception to be told there was only 1 member of staff manning the reception and assisting with breakfast, as she was busy we had to wait for her to be free and restock the breakfast food. We decided to leave without eating. The on site...

"Not enough superlatives to describe our three day stay. Simone, Violin and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The Chateau is situated in the countryside just 2 miles from the beautiful town of Bayeux. Perfect location for nice walks and for touring the D-Day sites. Note: it’s a 15 euro trip to/from Bayeux. Worth it."
