"From check-in to check-out the staff were friendly, helpful and present. That may seem obvious but I’ve been at hotels where the staff seem to rarely be around. The room and bathroom were spotless and cleaned every day. We didn’t make use of the pool or restaurant so can’t really comment there. Room temp was good, bed comfortable, and the coffee maker had actually good coffee pods. We also appreciated the location - short walk to all the esplanade activities and wharf, Rusty’s, Woolies,...

"Suitable for short visits but without a toaster we found breakfast time disappointing. Both over 80 and no car so not excited about going out for meals too often when not on tours"

"The reception was amazingly friendly and helpful. They lent us 2 giant golf umbrellas and pool towels to take on our reef cruise. The room had no view, but we weren’t there to look out the window. The Esplanade was just a block away and the mall with many shops for things we fortjust a brief walk."

"Perfectly located and within walking distance to pretty much everything. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. No housekeeping to rooms if stay is under 5 days (or at an additional charge if required). The only issue with this is that the bin fills up really quickly and there is no spare liner to replace it. Overall very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend."

"Great central place to stay with the wharf very close and the casino just across the road. Rooms that have been renovated are lovely, the ones that haven't been are very outdated and damaged and even though we booked 2 the same had different size beds, tiny TV's, no balcony furniture, bath in one and not the other, and then smelled mouldy. Staff were very obliging and upgraded our rooms due to the condition and smell to the amazing rooms. Buffet breakfast was nice, lots to choose from and...
