"AC did not work but the fan worked. Some of the furniture was worn or broken. But overall, for Mexico, and especially Yelapa where there are limited amenities, it was fairly good.
The staff were helpful, especially Ismar, who spoke some English. As my Spanish is poor I was grateful for that!"

"The room was so interesting and beautiful. But the grounds were the best part, the outside areas were serene and well landscaped. My friend and I enjoyed sitting out or enjoying a hammock by the river often. I also enjoyed that there was a small row boat that I could row over to the beach area. We had our first dinner there and it was the most delicious meal of our 14 day trip (the volcano one)."

"The room was lovely. Views superb, quiet, apart from a bit of traffic.
However, we couldn’t use our credit card to check in, had to use cash. We weren’t the only guests this happened to. They xanclled our last 2 nights, with a week’s notice and offered no compensation. We later learned everyone had been cancelled to accommodate a wedding..surely they knew about this more than a week ahead!
The advertised airport shuttle did not exist. Neither did the advertised coffee machine in the room,...
