"What a grand historical hotel..perfectly located a short walkway away from the charming historical district! The lobby was bustling when we were there with contestants in the Ms Virginia pageant. Our room was small, but comfortable. We will be back for sure!"

"The room smelled of cigarettes although its supposed to be non-smoking. The towels were kids size. The staff is rude. Night clerk was unfriendly and the breakfast attendant is rude and non-personal. She did not want to let me sit with my wife because they closed breakfast although my wife was inside. I didn't want to eat just sit with her and that came with plenty of attitude. The breakfast area was a mess. Would not recommend."

"No mention of the hotel being under construction on Expedia. We had no pool, no gym, no restaurant, no lobby our entire visit. Let’s not mention the fire code of the smoke detectors all being covered on the ground level. Horrible experience."

"The staff was very helpful and check-in was seamless. Our room seemed like it was in the middle of a renovation so there were good and disappointing things. Lots of dance-floor space with no furniture. The was very little space for any clothing for anyone that likes to unpack and not live out of their suitcase for a week. The vinyl floor in our room was not at all clean...actually pretty nasty. The location was convenient for getting on the highway. Hopefully things will be better when...

"I am not one to complain but I feel that I have to make others aware of the issues we had at this hotel. The air conditioner did not cool the room, the refrigerator was rusty inside and iced over and the toilet would not flush in our initial room. We moved to the room next door. The air conditioner did work. The toilet flushed but rocked because it was not secured to the floor."

"My stay at the Holiday Inn on Williamson Road in Roanoke, VA was excellent from start to finish. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, making the entire experience stress-free. The staff went above and beyond by checking in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated the added security. The elevators required a room key for access, which made me feel safe knowing only registered guests could access the guest floors. Great complimentary breakfast!! The...

"We stayed here for the Ella Langley concert in Salem. It was perfect! The lofts are beautifully renovated. We had a full kitchen and washer and dryer. It was very clean and felt safe. Parking was free. I would definitely stay here again."
