"I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded. The staff are polite, courteous and professional without being robotic, and that makes a difference. The bathroom was good and the buttons for the shower avoided the usual fear of having to take a degree in plumbing that you usually find with hotel bathrooms. "This was a great hotel in a very convenient location! We arrived early to a surprise that our room was ready and we had been upgraded! Maxine was so friendly and helpful that first day including helping us to reschedule afternoon plans when I wasn't feeling well from our travel and morning walking tour. "It’s large congress hotel renovated and furnished in quite specific style. There is only air conditioning to refresh your room as you are not allowed to open the windows. Hotel is practical but not for romantic stay in Bordeaux."
