"We absolutely LOVED our stay at Hotel Plaza Colon! It’s a fantastic location close to so many fun things to see and do in Granada. The oversized, well-appointed colonial room had a super comfy bed with crisp linens. Coffee station, drinking water, hairdryer, toiletries, rain head shower, and more are stocked and ready for you upon arrival- as well as ice cold AC! The pool area, patios, and seating areas within the hotel are comfortable and perfect for visiting or relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. We were met with warm hospitality and superb service at every turn. The food and drinks were incredible… breakfast was second to none, including the best omelette I’ve ever had. Don’t miss that! Only critique would be to update photos and website. The property, rooms, lobby, bar all look so much nicer in person than on the photos. We had a fabulous time here while on Granada and hope to come stay again soon! The hotel far exceeded our expectations."

"Kitchen is downstairs. No cooking in rooms. No AC just fans. Started getting hot in April already 90. You can cool off in the pool, which they keep clean. I stayed in the apartment with living room, private bathroom and separate bedroom. I ask for my cleaning man days and Thursdays. Showers are cool not hot. Very nice. "

"Most beautiful boutique hotel i ever stayed in. Breakfast is made for you personally and tasty. The room with beds are comfortable and the shower area is with a closed space, ensuring some privacy. Perfect hotel and good location. "

"The property was gorgeous. AC worked incredibly. The restaurant was delicious. The staff as top notch. The location was perfectly centralized in Granada. Highly recommend. This place is classy and historical!"

"I would give Plaza Marbella a 4/5. Overall, it was a really good stay, mainly because the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the pool area was nice. That said, there are a few things that could be improved. Some areas feel a bit outdated and worn, and the kitchen was very basic – it could use a few more essentials (even a kitchen towel would help). The balcony was often covered in bird droppings, and it didn’t seem like it was being cleaned regularly, even just the table. The pool area is enjoyable, but adding umbrellas or more loungers to lay on would make it even better. Despite these small issues, we had a great stay and really appreciated how helpful the staff was."
